Community Impact
Building Stronger Communities Through Service and Craftsmanship
At Irons Brothers Construction, we believe our work goes beyond building and improving homes—it is also about strengthening the community we call home. We proudly support local organizations, schools, and small businesses through sponsorships, partnerships, in-kind contributions, and volunteer efforts. Whether mentoring young builders, leading hands-on workshops, or supporting events like the Shoreline Farmers Market, we are committed to using our skills and resources to make a meaningful local impact.
Our Community Impact
Compassion, craftsmanship, and service are at the heart of how we give back. Through hands-on learning experiences, in-kind donations, and volunteer work, we strive to build more than homes—we build relationships, inspire confidence, and help strengthen the Shoreline community we are proud to be part of.
A Culture of Care and Community Giving
Giving back is an important part of who we are. We are honored to support outreach efforts that reflect our values of compassion, connection, and community care, including:
- Rampathon – Building free wheelchair ramps for neighbors in need through the Master Builders Association.
- Planting a Better Tomorrow – Beautifying local green spaces with new trees for our forests and future.
- ShoreLake Arts Council – Supporting arts and culture in our community.
- Shoreline Farmers Market – Hosting hands-on building activities for kids and families.
- Shorewood & Shorecrest High School Booster Clubs – Supporting local students, athletics, and school programs.
- Shoreline Little League – Encouraging youth development through sports.
These partnerships reflect our deep roots in Shoreline and our ongoing commitment to giving back.
A Mother’s Day Gift of Access and Independence
During Mother’s Day weekend, Irons Brothers Construction joined a team of volunteers to design and build a free wheelchair ramp and walkway for a Haller Lake family in need. As part of the annual Rampathon program, the project gave a disabled veteran and his daughter safe, barrier-free access to their home—bringing greater independence, connection, and hope.

Irons Brothers Construction began building free wheelchair ramps through the Master Builders Association’s Rampathon program in 2006. In 2016, one of our company builds was featured on KOMO 4 News—a truly rewarding project.
Planting a Better Tomorrow
Joseph and Melissa Irons of Irons Brothers Construction joined more than 100 community volunteers and industry professionals on Friday, October 24, 2025, for the Green Shoreline x MBAKS Planting a Better Tomorrow tree-planting event at Paramount School Park in Shoreline’s Ridgecrest neighborhood.
Despite the classic Pacific Northwest rain, participants showed up with energy and teamwork to plant 64 new trees along the park’s pedestrian walkways—enhancing the green space and helping create a healthier, more vibrant local environment.
