Build a Birdhouse With Us
Building Skills, One Nail at a Time
We believe in the value of early hands-on learning. Encouraging kids to explore carpentry and building at a young age helps nurture creativity, confidence, problem-solving, and teamwork. Each year, you will find our team at the Shoreline Farmers Market, where we host fun, safe, and engaging building activities for children. It is a joyful way to connect with our community while inspiring the next generation of
builders.

A Tradition of Building Together
Since 2017, we have proudly introduced children to the joy of building through hands-on birdhouse workshops at Shoreline community events. With support from our team and generous material donations from Dunn Lumber, we have built more than 1,500 birdhouses alongside local kids.
These projects offer more than just a fun activity—they give children the chance to work side by side with one of our carpenters, building confidence, learning foundational skills, and creating a custom home for our feathered friends. This program is part of our broader commitment to community giving and education. We are honored to partner with the Shoreline Farmers Market each year to create experiences that are accessible, memorable, and meaningful for local families.
